Shermeen Obaid Chenoi Gets Alleged By Acid Victim

The famed Oscar winning Pakistani documentary filmmaker Shermeen Obaid Chenoi has got into problem by an acid victim of her documentary movie “Saving Face”.
Rukhsana Bibi, whose tale was used in Shermeen Obaid Chenoi’s documentary film “Saving Face,” has accused her of not satisfying her promise of providing monetary support. Rukhsana Bibi told that Shermeen Obaid Chenoi offered her return and profit to appear in her film, but after the film got released and expected gratitude, the director forgot her promise.
Rukhsana Bibi supposed Shermeen Obaid Chenoi of promising a five-marla residence, plastic surgery also financial aid of Rs 3,000,000. She too told that she has been kicked out of her house for appearing in film moreover is left unsheltered with her children.
While the director of documentary “Saving Face”, Shermeen Obaid Chenoi, has supposed that she had never promised any such help of return to Rukhsana Bibi. Also, the plastic surgeon Dr Mohammad Jawwad who came to Pakistan to perform surgical treatment on Rukhsana could not perform so because she turned down the offer.
